It would be great if I could pair one phone and then plug the other one in to charge without the thing getting confused. If there's a USB input I would only want it to charge my device and not take over data transmission. And I do not need a fancy LED readout screen - as long as it will pair with Bluetooth device and transmit to the FM receiver I can just look at my phone to manage playlists or check battery life or whatever else it's capable of.Īnd that kind of confused me anyway. The ones that let you choose from the full spectrum on the FM dial are obviously more likable than the ones with a narrower selection. I would love to make sure it has at least one, preferably two USB charging ports. A quick search on Amazon didn't spark anything as far as a standout, and there were enough options that I didn't feel like I could keep track of the pros and cons of each one. Wondering if anyone has any experience with Bluetooth pairing capable FM transmitters. Because she uses iPhone and I use a Google phone I'd like a Bluetooth one so that we don't need to worry about adapters/cables (except for charging). I figured the quickest solve would be a car charger transmitter because I've used them before locally with good results. And there's not a USB port in sight, either. My girlfriend just got a van that's 12 years old and has neither aux nor Bluetooth in the factory stereo. The only threads I saw about FM transmitters were at least a year old and didn't specifically mention Bluetooth capability.
